2 outcomes for developing and providing these support service packages:
1. Give the instructors what they really need. Many institutions do their best to provide general trainings and support. However, instructors are working with different levels of students, disciplines, and often have varying levels of digital literacy. Ultimately, instructors have individual course development needs and goals. I help address each of those individual needs as we pave the way to success.
2. Every course build should be an opportunity to teach instructors EdTech skills. This is done using the most relevant training material: their own courses.
In the end, quality online courses are built and instructors gain relevant skills.
Through a tiered support structure, I provide different options to design and build online courses with instructors' goals in mind.
Each level includes: a description, content the instructor (or subject matter expert) would provide, my deliverables, as well as the training outcomes.
Instructional Technology is the foundational choice and each subsequent option adds another layer to provide even more than the previous option.
